Ananda Samarakoon 🎵🎼🎶

       

Ananda samarakoon is talented musician and music composer.He was born on 13th january 1911.👼According to the birth certificate his name is mentioned as Egodahage George Wilfred Alwis Amarakoon.🥰

        Among the songs composed by Mr.Samarakoon "Podi mal ethano","Wile malak pipila","Siri saru sara kethe"are some of the most famous ones🎶.And he served as a teacher from 1938 to 1942 i Mahinda Vidyalaya Gall.🤵

                 He composed the National Anthem of Sri Lanka🎵🎼.Though the national anthem was accepted by the government,there were so arguments against it.Finaly the first line of the anthem was changed as "Sri Lanka Matha" but it caused the displeasure of Mr.Samarakoon.
🤦Finally some say that it is due to his frustration over this issue,he committed suicide in 5th April in 1962 😥

We Were redy to go on an excursion from school. So we used "Nuwara Eliya" for that. I and all my friends and teachers joined this journey. Nuwara Eliya is very beautiful and cool area. That place very attractive. We all gathered near gregory lake in the evening. We sang and danced there and were very happy. We spent three days in the city. We were very happy and added many things to life. Those days were added to my memory book as a good memory of what I spent.
